API 674 Triplex Mud Pumps - TPZ Series

Dynapro Pumps TPZ Series are designed for mud drilling, workover, slurry mining, and related services; in compliance with API 674, and API 7K, Latest Editions, for ratings from 350 HP up to 2500 HP.  The pumps are horizontal arrangement, modular design system, reciprocating, power driven, triplex piston, single acting type.

Design Features and Benefits

Power End Frame
. Nodular iron one piece construction for added strength and durability
. Double extended Jackshaft design allows for left-hand or right-hand drive and easy conversion
. Double-row-spherical roller bearings carry eccentric.

Crankshaft
. Nodular iron material of construction for eccentric
. Designed for use with tapered roller bearings to carry higher crankshaft/rod loads.

Crosshead
. Nodular iron material of construction
. Double sealed crosshead stub seals to prevent oil loss and oil contamination
. Crosshead extensions connect to plungers outside of power frame for easier maintenance
. Replaceable bronze crosshead slides.

Connecting Rod
. High strength cast steel construction
. Precision automotive type Babbitt lined journal bearings.

Lubrication
. Full splash with oil pump to feed lubrication to all moving parts, keeping the oil constantly circulated and cooled
. Oil sight gauge allows quick convenient observation of power end oil level when running or idle.

Fluid Cylinder
. Heat-treated alloy steel material; interchangeable
. Three-rib API-7 urethane insert valves and seats
. Replaceable-type element oil filter and oil pressure gauge
. Threaded valve covers
. Plated piston rods
. Complete piston washing and lubricating system.
